What size bean bag chair do I need?
For adults, a chair with a diameter of 120–140cm provides full-body support. Smaller 90–100cm options suit teenagers and lighter users. If you want something you can fully recline on, consider our bean bag lounges instead. Our size guide has detailed recommendations.
Are bean bag chairs good for your back?
When used correctly, bean bag chairs can support good posture by conforming to the natural curve of your spine. They distribute body weight evenly, which reduces pressure points. For a detailed breakdown, see our guide on bean bags and back health.
What fabrics are available?
Our indoor bean bag chairs come in corduroy, faux fur, faux linen, velvet, fleece, and cotton canvas. For outdoor-suitable chairs that resist UV and moisture, explore our outdoor bean bags.
Do bean bag chairs come filled?
All our bean bag chairs ship flat-packed without filling, allowing for safe, compact delivery. Our bean bag filling guide covers the best filling options, how much you need, and where to buy it.
Are they suitable for kids and teenagers?
Yes — all our bean bags feature childproof locking safety zippers. For younger children, see our dedicated kids bean bags range, which includes smaller sizes and child-appropriate fabrics.
