Our custom 320GSM Olefin fabric is 30% heavier than typical alternatives, offering superior fade resistance in the sun, chlorine, and saltwater, as well as protection from rain and UV rays. Seams are triple-stitched with PTFE thread - the same type used in sailmaking for extreme strength and UV resistance. Luxury floats are made with materials designed to withstand sun, chlorine, rain, and the elements, ensuring long-lasting performance.
A marine-grade Size 10 wetsuit zipper (with safety lock) and a removable inner liner come standard, making it easy to fill, secure, and maintain. Every Portsea float includes a 316 marine-grade stainless steel eyelet for hanging or rafting. The bottom is constructed with breathable mesh to allow airflow and water drainage, speeding up drying and preventing mildew. The fabric used in luxury loungers often dries quickly and resists mildew, adding to their practicality and ease of maintenance.
We recommend filling with 350 litres of standard bean bag filling. The float is filled with buoyant beads or foam, providing comfort and support, and allowing it to conform to your body. The dimensions are 170cm x 140cm—generous enough to offer more space for relaxing or lounging, making it suitable for almost anyone. A 12-month warranty backs each float and conforms to both Australian and U.S. safety standards.

Each Portsea float is shipped flat-packed in a stylish PVC gift bag. The flat-packed design allows for easy storage when not in use. Filling is not included but readily available from K-Mart, Target, Big-W, Walmart, and Amazon. The separate inner liner allows for fast, spill-free filling and replacement. Proper storage during the off-season, such as deflating and keeping the float in a cool, dry place, is essential to maintain its condition.
